Books are beneficial for mental health
In this era, mental health becomes
major concern. During this pandemic we confronted with anxiety, frustrations,
depression and isolation. Many of us had lost their loved ones which leads to
insecurities and worry.
No one can measure mental health of a person, only we can cure our mental health by self motivation. Plethora of seminars and events are organized by ngo's and government agencies for awareness of mental health. It was found that books worked as best remedy for depression and anxiety. Although, we spend our most of time in front of mobile screen and laptops we don't have any reading or writing habit. But its true, we can learn the way of living our lives form books. Many of us love to read love stories, some of us loved thriller. When we read a story, we also created characters by our imagination and lived that story.
Books also have a positive impact on our life in several ways.
1. Escapism and Stress Relief:
Reading allows individuals to escape from their daily stressors and immerse
themselves in a different world. It can provide a much-needed break from
everyday worries and help reduce anxiety and stress.
